The Beach scene above was my fist dropcloth that I painted. The elementary school, my daughter attended, needed a photo op for the teachers and students for a graduation party. I needed something larger than a shower curtain. So I purchased a 9x12 dropcloth and started painting. The school loved it so much, they used it for the Graduation Ceremony.
